Background:
"Art has been an interest of mine since childhood.  My Mexico born parents brought with them a love of music and color.  As the last child of eight, my home life was filled with artistic expressions.  In addition to sculpting, I have formally studied drawing, painting and print making, as well as iconography and art history.  While completing my undergraduate art studies at CSU Fresno, I assisted in building and using the bronze casting foundry.  Following this I spent 18 months in Vietnam, and spiritually it has caused me to answer to God for all that I create.  My formal education in art therapy, followed by twelve years work in the social service arena lends greatly to my art expressions and concepts."
