January 1, 2005 at the Dolphin Gallery in Gualala, CA

Synopsis:  I completed my undergraduate degree in art from CSU Fresno.  At CSU Sacramento, I completed a course in art therapy.  I've worked as a counselor/therapist for 13 years.  At present I am self employed.

This body of work brought me back to doing figurative work in a straight forward manner, and just a touch of creative imagination.

I've attempted to reflect people being themselves and in the moment, so to speak.  The poses are meant to reflect the individual figures in character.  In some works, showing a personal interaction scenario.

I used a variety of teas to stain the fired clay, and am please with the effect.  I like the warmth of the color tones produced.

I hope you enjoy and appreciate my efforts as well.    Enjoy the show.
